During the drilling process, solid materials and particles are generated due to the activity of the drill bits. To prevent damage to the drill bit, other tools, and the drill string, these materials must be removed from the well. A significant portion of these materials reaches the surface of the well through the circulation of drilling mud and is removed. However, some materials with higher density remain, and to remove them, the Junk Sub tool is used.

This tool has a mesh-like chamber that traps the heavy particles within it and, after the drilling operation is completed, carries them out of the well.
